“We have more in common as humans than difference…We are all crayons from the same box, each simply painting the world a different color but all crayons none the less.” ~ TwinSpirit
We utilize such a large portion of our time and energy here on this earth plane pointing out, focusing on, and worrying about differences.
We categorize, study, label, explore, argue, and debate all of these perceived differences.
We then use these differences to divide, separate, exclude, disunite, compartmentalize, isolate, & polarize.
We use these differences to launch campaigns of judgement, hate, control, fear, & terror.
In life’s garden we are all flowers. We come in different shades, grow in different climates, have different needs, different life cycles, we live in different regions, we have different traits & properties, different names, we provide different benefits, but we all add value none the less.
Our differences, however, are merely what make our flower unique…they do not take away the fact that at our core we are simply still and will ALWAYS be a flower. Each contributing beauty and each a necessary part of the circle of life.
We are all Human Beings. We all matter. We all have value. We all have the same Fundamental Needs:
- identity and
No matter who we are or where we are in the world our basic needs are the same.
We have more things that connect us than things that separate us. We must learn to embrace our sameness and at the same time celebrate our differences for what they truly are…”simple points of contrast”, which allow us the opportunity to view things from various perspectives and points of view. From variety or contrast, our own preferences or desires are born.
I love this quote from Abraham Hicks, “There Is Enough Room for All Diverse Thoughts and Experiences. From your Non-Physical perspective of the enormous variety of experiences, beliefs, and desires that exist among the people of your world, you felt no need to omit or control some of them. You understood that there is room enough in this expansive Universe for all manner of thought and experience. You had every intention of being deliberate about your own creative : control of your own life experience and your own creations-but you had no intentions of trying to control the creations of others. The variety did not frighten you, but instead, inspired you, for you knew that you were each the creator of your own experience, and you understood that your exposure to the contrast would inspire specific directions within you, and that just because others may choose differently, it did not make you right and them wrong, or them right and you wrong. You understood the value of the diversity.”
We must remember that our gender, size, shape, hair texture, race or shade of color, sexual orientation, social status, financial status, religious affiliations, systems of belief , & life experiences…While these things color our world they are not the true determining factors of our worth or value. They are not the essence of who we are.
Differences do exist and there is value in these differences…but these differences do not change the fact that we are all here, at the same time, sharing a Human Experience
“As a human, our destiny and birthright is to access and release our unlimited creativity while in physical form to become the conscious creator of the physical experiences we have and the associated physical reality. We do this by learning how reality molds itself to what we believe while using the physical plane much the same as one would use a sandbox to experience the creations they create.”- K. Ferlic
It would seem that our time here would be more wisely spent utilizing our abilities to compare and contrast, to embrace and explore the vast levels of possibility that our human experience can offer. Rather than wasting so much time and energy focusing on finding differences that we can use to divide us as a people and create road blocks to our growth as individuals and as a species.
