Today as I was heading to my mailbox I noticed all of the insects out doing their spring things. The bees were buzzing about. The ants were scurrying along about their merry way. The birds were happily singing.
It amazed me that they were all just moving about being themselves and doing what they were naturally born to do.
Once I reached my box, I opened it and there was one lone piece of mail. A post card from a religious organization inviting me to attend their church services. I flipped the postcard over and noticed a series of movies they would be showing over the next few weeks…What I saw took my mind on a journey of questions. All of the movies focused on repenting, judgement, the last days, & hell. The question that stuck out in my mind as I walked back to my condo was this:
How different would life and our perspective be if we were taught that Loving & Caring was our natural state of being rather than being taught that we are born defective sinners heading for judgement and in need of saving?
What a major shift in mindset that would create. If we were taught from birth that we are divine spiritual beings created in love. That we are the architects of our own reality. That the only limitations we have are those we place on ourselves. That we live in a state of abundance so there is never a need to focus on scarcity. That happy is our natural state and emotions counter to that state are merely indicators that we have gotten out of alignment with our natural state of being and an adjustment is needed. That all experiences merely provide a counter point of reference..meaning that if we never had any sad moments it would be difficult or near to impossible to observe the happy moments.
Sometimes you simply have to lose yourself in order to find yourself and we oftentimes have to lose our way to find our way back to the path that our soul desires.
Life is a series of choices..we are given free will to try on any experience for size. The thing to remember is that they are in fact just experiences…Not Defining Moments of Who We ARE.
We are always divine beings created in love….sometimes we just forget
So remember who you are and the power you possess.
Remember that LOVE is your natural state of Be-ing.
From that perspective everything else will fall right into place.
